About Me

I hold an MSc in Remote Sensing and GIS, a significant accomplishment earned in 2019. At present, I serve as a GIS Engineer with GAIT Global. My professional journey encompasses diverse roles, notably as the founder and director of GeoEspacio Tech, established in 2020. Over nearly two years, I have led research, development, and proficient project management. Prior, I contributed to geospatial expertise as a Senior Research Fellow at IIT Patna and a GIS Intern at Saranda forest division. With almost four years of experience, I specialize in intricate analyses of Remote Sensing satellite images, integrating them with geospatial and field data, spanning terrestrial dynamics, climatic trends, socio-economic insights, employing geo-statistical methods and advanced machine learning. A highlight is my innovation of a cost-effective IoT-based soil moisture sensor, seamlessly integrated with in-situ measurements and sentinel-1-derived microwave backscatter data. I've crafted three R packages and one python package for spatial data manipulation. My expertise spans mining subsidence monitoring, above ground biomass estimation, deforestation surveillance, hyperspectral-based forest type mapping, algal bloom detection, urban expansion analysis, runoff prediction, atmospheric rivers identification, Web-GIS deployment, cloud utility optimization, D-InSAR-driven mining subsidence models, optical fibre route design, precise digitization, GIS database management, and adept LULC modeling. My passion lies in dissecting satellite and geospatial datasets via statistical rigor and advanced machine learning. Proficient in Python and R, I adeptly orchestrate GIS data manipulation, complex processing, and advanced machine learning. My adaptability shines in both solo projects and collaborative endeavors.
